Our projects

4 MW Grid-Tied Solar Farm
Sompower Electricity Company

This is a transformative renewable energy project designed to enhance energy access and sustainability. The solar farm will generate approximately 7,000 MWh annually, supplying clean and reliable electricity to the grid.

353.4 KWP Gebiley Solar Farm

This facility harnesses solar energy to generate approximately 353.4 kilowatts of electrical power, which is directly fed into the local grid. By integrating renewable energy into the existing infrastructure, the Gebiley Solar Farm contributes to reducing reliance on fossil fuels and supports the region’s sustainable energy initiatives

701.5 kWp Borama Solar Farm

This solar farm generates approximately 701.5 kilowatts of electrical power, which is directly fed into the local grid, enhancing the region’s energy capacity and reliability. By harnessing solar energy, the Borama Solar Farm reduces reliance on fossil fuels, contributing to environmental sustainability and supporting Somaliland’s renewable energy initiatives. This project plays a vital role in meeting the growing energy demands of Borama’s population, estimated at around 300,000 residents, and promotes economic development in the area.

145.3 KWp/200KWH Eelo University Solar System

This is a significant renewable energy initiative to enhance the institution’s energy sustainability and reliability. This grid-tied photovoltaic (PV) system comprises solar panels with a total capacity of 145.3 kilowatts peak (kWp), capable of generating approximately 230 megawatt-hours (MWh) of electricity annually. The system includes a 200 kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery storage component, ensuring a stable power supply during periods of low solar irradiance and mitigating the impact of grid fluctuations.
